The place of birth.

We are from Karavaevo High School. It's a state school where a thousand students learn. Most of pupils feel at home there and go to school with pleasure. Every year students of our school take part in district and region educational Olympiads, projects and become winners, get prizes. It's impossible imagine our life without school, classmates and teachers. We live in Karavaevo, a suburb of Kostroma. Have you heard this name? But in Russia it's a rather famous place. It's well known for one of the largest agriculture Academy in our country. Karavaevo is also famous for Karavaevo stock- breeding farm. It's a state farm, one of the richest and oldest state farms in Russia. In 1998 Eltsin when he was the president of Russia, visited the farm. He highly appreciated achievements of Karavaevo stock- breeding farm. So we have an every reason to be proud of Karavaevo.

The date of birth

It was in November, 1999. Once a good idea to organise Internet club came to the teacher of our school. He told 10 students and his colleague about it. They approved his idea. So in November, 1999 we appeared. In short our club was organized.

Life of the club

We started our work with looking for pen pals. Seeking pen pals is the most essential kind of our activity. We hope Internet will help us to carry out our dreams. We like to talk to teens of different countries, to work on various projects to broaden our outlook, to improve our knowledge, especially in English. Besides it's pleasant to get prizes, isn't it? In November, 2000 we took part in the project "This is our time" organised by UNESCO. We took the 7th place among 150 international teams. For several hours we had to answer more than 120 questions.We were awarded with a large clock. We became famous. At present our club is constantly enlarged.
